Show the task. Keep the judgement.

Turn a demonstrated browser task into clear AI instructions, with a process card, worked example and tests for variations and exceptions.

A demonstrated browser action becomes a recorded sequence and a reusable instruction card awaiting review.

You can show a colleague what to click in two minutes. Explaining why you skip one record and stop at another takes more thought. That judgement makes a task reusable.

Choose a task with a visible finish

To make a repeated task reusable, capture its starting point, steps, decision rules and finished result. Choose something you already understand, such as preparing a list of open installation requests for a morning handover. “Review the support system” is too broad to check.

Write down what remains your decision. In this example, an assistant may prepare a list but cannot reassign requests, contact customers or mark work complete. Begin with a read-only task whose result you can compare with the original records.

Try this now: describe the outcome without naming a button. Then name one condition that would make you stop. You have useful instructions even if your chosen tool cannot accept a recording.
