Check what survived the conversion.

Check converted documents for missing tables, headings and important conditions before using them as AI source material.

Original and converted documents are compared with a magnifier, highlighting a missing table cell for correction.

The converted file opens and the paragraphs look tidy. That does not tell you whether the price table, footnote or exception survived.

Keep the original beside the output

To check a converted document, compare its structure and decision-critical details with the original before using it as AI input. Keep both files, record the conversion method and note any known omissions. A successful file conversion is not proof that the content is complete.

Start by identifying what a reader will rely on: figures, dates, conditions, headings or a diagram. Those items determine the checks. A missing decorative image may not matter; a missing column heading can change every value beneath it.

Choose one short document and list three details that must survive. That becomes your first acceptance checklist.
